The Newell Community Improvement Coalition is excited to announce that the Santa’s Mail Box is up and ready to receive children’s letters to Santa. The mailbox is located at the overlook above Laurel Hollow Park on Washington Street in Newell. Letters received by Dec. 18 will be answered by Santa if an address is listed. Along with the mailbox Santa brought Mrs. Claus, Frosty and a Christmas Tree Elf to help. They will be returning to the overlook on Saturday, Dec 12 from noon until 2:00 for children to talk to Santa and pose for photos. Bring your children and cameras to see Santa and visit with them all for some Christmas fun.
