Obituary

Mary Jane Wolfe, 82, of Chester, passed, Monday, December 28, 2020, at Valley Hospice in Trinity West, following a brief illness.
Born, August 16, 1938, in Richmond Twp. Venango, PA., she was a daughter of the late James Loy and Oral Latshaw Beals.
Mary Jane was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennie Wolfe; son Larry E. Wolfe; daughter, Melissa “Mitzi” Wolfe, and brothers, James, and Larry Beals.
Mary Jane was a member of the former Eturia St. Church of God. She dedicated her life to the Lord, serving as the secretary and treasurer and she would spend months making Easter Candy as a fundraiser for the Church. After the closure of the Church of God, Mary Jane became a member of Northside Community Church.
Mary Jane was formerly employed by ASI Pittsburgh Airport where she cleaned planes and she also formerly worked at Holiday Inn Express in Newell.
She enjoyed painting, taking drives in the country, traveling, golfing, watching the deer, and playing cards. Mary Jane loved her family dearly and she loved spending every minute she could with them.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Jack L. Wolfe of Emlenton, PA., Dennie “Mike” Wolfe and his wife, Tina of Emlenton, PA., Terry Metz and her husband, Rob of Shippenville, PA., Jay Wolfe and his wife, Kim of Greenville, PA., Shelley Adams, and her husband Steve of Medina, OH. and Renee Manypenny, and her husband, Jim of Chester. She will also be missed by her 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Pastor Larry Rose will celebrate Mary Jane’s life, Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Arner Funeral Chapel, at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
