James M. Porter passed at home on December 31, after a long struggle with Multi System Atrophy (MSA). His wife Daria was by his side.
He is predeceased by his father, Perry Lenville Porter (Applesauce), mother Margaret Jefferies Porter Russell, four brothers: Perry Lenville Jr., William A., Carlos A., and sister Beryl Ernestine.
Jim leaves behind in sorrow his wife Daria, son Ian (Julia), granddaughter Zoe Porter, brother Godfrey Bruce “Bunk” Porter, sisters Barbara Howe (Youngstown, OH), Anita Williams (New Cumberland, WV), Judith Hennen (West Liberty, WV), and Cynthia Skalican, Windsor Heights, WV.
Also many nephews and nieces.
