Sandra “Sandy” McCoy, 65, of Weirton, WV, passed away March 5, 2021.
Born June 26, 1955 in Parkersburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Mercer) Higgins.
Sandy graduated in 1973 from Oak Glen High School.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Higgins Jr. and Robert Higgins and a sister, Terry Adkins.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Theodore “Ted” McCoy” of Weirton; a son, Joe (Meggan) Jimboy of Weirton; two grandchildren, Jordyn and Jaylnne; three brothers, Dave (Betsy) Higgins of Chester, Chuck (Hope) Higgins of West Point, and Mark Higgins of Ohio; and a sister, Susan (Steve) Harlan of Ohio.
Arrangements were handled by the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WV.
