Jadyn Smith is the February 2021 Oak Glen High School’s Lion Club Scholar of the month.  Jadyn is a member of Oak Glen High School Class of 2021.  Jadyn is 18, she is the daughter of Todd and Lisa Smith of Chester.  Jadyn has participated in Pep Club, Culture Club, and Prom Committee through her four years of high school. She is a Student Council representative and a member of the National Honor Society.  Jadyn has a 4.03 GPA and is in the top ten of her class.  Jadyn is a standout member of the Oak Glen Volleyball team.  She was named to the All OVAC Academic Team in grades 9 – 12.   As a junior, Jadyn was a part of the 2019 OVAC Championship and West Virginia State Championship volleyball team.  In the 2020 Season, her senior year, she was chosen to be a part of the 2020 OVAC All-Star Game and named to WVSSAC Special Honorable Mention Team.   Following graduation, Jadyn plans to attend West Liberty University and major in Business.
