Ernie Cross Jr., 85, of Newell, WV, passed away April 9, 2021.
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Earnest and Elda (Franklin) Cross.
Ernie was a retired pottery worker. The co-owner of the former Ernie’s Bar. Ernie was a member of the Newell Legion Post, 114 Chester Legion Post 121, Chester V.F.W., East Liverpool American Legion Post 374, Potters Club and Wellsville Eagles.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Nora (Reeder) Cross; a son, Mike Cross and a granddaughter, Tess Miller.
Surviving are his daughter, Lisa Moore of Chester; a son, Earnest (Jolinda) Cross of East Liverpool; three grandchildren, Shawn Moore, Seth Cross and Mike Cross; three great grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Charlie Reeder of East Livearpool.
