Joseph “Bucky” Eckstein, 61, of Chester, passed away November 12, 2021.

Born September 30, 1960 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late Joseph and Vonita Eckstein.

Buck was a Pilot for Imperial River Transport. He was an avid NASCAR Fan and Steeler fan He loved the river.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Della (Beaver) Eckstein of Chester; a daughter, Chrissy (Brett) Smith of Chester; a son, Michael E. Eckstein of Wheeling; three grandchildren, Dorian Smith, Madison Smith and Kaylee Eckstein; a brother, Richard Monroe of Florida; a sister, Nena May Ludwig of Calcutta;  several nieces and nephews and cousins; also by canine  “Beckley.”

Visitation is Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, WV, where funeral service will be held at 1pm at the Nixon Funeral Home.
