SWANEY LIBRARY TO FORM “FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY” GROUP Swaney Memorial Library is forming a “Friends of the Library” Group. The group will meet about once a month to discuss, plan, and carry our events for the library as well as helping in the library. After all, the library belongs to you, the community. Anyone can join the group. We would like help from Adults, Teens, Tweens and Children. Please call or stop in the Library to sign up. First meeting will be held in November. Come Onboard! CHESTER LIONS CLUB FOOD DISTRIBUTION – The Chester Lions Club will be distributing Christmas Food Baskets to those in need on Saturday, December 11 at 9 AM at the Chester Municipal Building. This will be a drive-through distribution. You must show proof of WV residency or photo ID. The food distribution is compliments of Marsh Bellofram with assistance from Sparkle Market and Hancock County Savings Bank.
