Richard A Langford DVM born 2/20/1932 passed away peacefully in his home in Newell, WV on 12/10/2021. Richard “Doc” Langford held a degree as an engineer and was also a graduate of OSU Veterinary School, he owned West Geauga Animal Hospital in Chesterland, Ohio for many years before becoming the track Veterinarian at Thistledown and later filling in as State Veterinarian in Ohio for several years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and leaves behind a son, daughter and two granddaughters. I am sure that his mother, father and son Rick were waiting for him in eternity with open arms to greet him as were the many animals whose lives he enriched with his care.
The many adventures in flight you gave us all will live on in infamy as will the many memories of skiing on soft powder out West. God bless you and your loved ones
