Bertha Ruth Jean (Donley) Ginier, 88, of Weirton, WV passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Weirton Medical Center.
She was born April 24, 1933 in Langeloth, PA a daughter of the late George O. Donley & Margaret (Lane) Friday and was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Bertha was a retired cook from the Hancock County Sheriff Office, a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Follansbee, WV.
Surviving are her nine children: Laura Baker of Salineville, OH, Robert (Sharon) Ginier of Weirton, WV, Arthur (Tina) Ginier of Steubenville, OH, Alan Ginier of Weirton, WV, Wesley (Caron) Ginier of Alta Loma, CA, Zachary (Lisa) Ginier of Gastonia, NC, Keven (Mary) Ginier of New Cumberland, WV, Corey (Angela) Ginier of Chester, WV, Alvin (Shannon) Ginier of Ona, WV and one sister Dorothy “DeeDee” Rivetti of Aliquippa, PA. Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren also survive.
Friends will be received Friday, January 21, 2022 from 2 -4 & 5 – 7 pm at Turley Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers the family request Monetary donations be made to Turley Funeral Home P.O. Box 488 New Cumberland, WV 26047; to aid in Funeral expenses.
