Thomas L. Darnley of Georgetown, passed at his home while in the loving care of his family on Sunday, January 23, 2022, following a lengthy illness. He was 81 years old.
He was the son of the late Gilbert and Beatrice Weir Darnley. Tom was born in McDonald, Pennsylvania on May 6, 1940.
Tom was a member of the Operating Engineers Union #66, and he owned and operated his own trucking company, Thomas Darnley Trucking.
His sons, Thomas Darnley Jr., and Todd Darnley, along with several brothers and sisters also preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sharon Cain Darnley, his children, Todd Darnley of Arkansas, Judith Darnley of Oklahoma, Timothy (Jennifer) Darnley of Georgetown, Troy (Tammy) Darnley of Georgetown, and Ted (Casey) Darnley of Georgetown. Also, he is survived by his sister, Bonnie Taylor of Carnegie, PA., and his grandchildren, Logan Darnley, Clayton Holbrook, Ted Darnley Jr., Cole Darnley, Costin Darnley, Trystan Stewart, Olivia Stewart, and Brianna Stewart.
Tom’s family will gathered to celebrate his life on Friday, January 28, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where friends were invited to join them from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
