OBITUARY: PATRICIA ROBINSON

 Patricia (Patty) Jean Robinson, 67, of Chester, WV passed unexpectedly from this life on February 14th, 2022, at her home.A daughter of the late Jim and Grace MacDonald Harbaugh, Patty was born in Sewickley, PA., in 1955.  She was a 1973 graduate of South Side High School.  Other than the time she spent with her husband Gary Lee Robinson, moving to various Air Force Bases in the 1970s, Patty lived her life in Beaver County, PA and Hancock County, WV. Patty led an interesting and diverse life, most of which was a reflection of her Christian principles.  For all her adult life, she was an active member of the Church of Christ, mostly with the Tomlinson Run congregation in Hookstown, PA.   Beyond her dedication to Christ, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.  She strove diligently to provide proper care and nurture for her home, extended family, and neighbors, emulating the characteristics of the disciple Tabitha of Joppa in Acts 9, “a woman full of good works and charitable deeds.”  Patty never met a person who was a stranger for more than 5 minutes.  She loved gardening, crafts, clothing her friends and family, music, singing, theater, musicals, boa constrictors, and travel, being diverse in enjoying God’s creation.  Patty suffered type 1 diabetes from her pre-teen days, and participated in multiple research efforts to improve treatment for this disease.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Carol Csonka, as well as Carol’s first daughter, Sheila Ann Csonka.  Left to cherish her memories are her son, Eric Lee Robinson of, Myrtle Beach, SC, as well as her five siblings: Danny (Penny) Csonka of New Cumberland, WV; James (Kim) Harbaugh of Temple Terrace, FL; Steven (Pam) Csonka of Lebanon, OH;  Samuel (Sharmin) Csonka of Manchester, TN; and Mary (Jeff) Teague of Fort Worth, TX, as well one grandchild, 11 nieces and nephews, and 13 grand nieces and nephews who loved her for her maternal care and attention .Patty is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
