George “Duane” Thrasher, 75, of Williamsfield, Ohio, passed away March 18, 2022.

Born in East Liverpool, Ohio on May 31, 1946, he was the son of the late Cecil and Mary (McCrea) Thrasher.

He served in the United States Navy. Duane was a retried Pug- Mill operator for the former Ohio Brass and Newell Porcelain. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil “Sonny” Thrasher and two sisters, Janet O’Neill and Joan Arnold.

He was very proud of his son, Brad (Jacki) Thrasher of Ohio and he enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren, Mason and Morgan; also surviving is his sister, Mary Alice (Glenn) Baker of Guilford Lake.Interment to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Wellsville, Ohio. The American Legion Post 121 and VFW Post 6450  conducted military services.
