Charles A. Fair Sr., 83, of New Cumberland passed at his home on Thursday, April 14, 2022. His wife and children had been lovingly caring for him after doctors recently diagnosed him with cancer.He was born in Pittsburgh on October 5, 1939
8. Charles was the son of the late Bernard and Sue Banko Fair.He retired from Weirton Steel where he was a welder and a member of the 25-year club. Charles was the kind of guy who could do anything, electrical, carpentry, masonry, and building wood clocks, of which he was especially proud. Also, he loved time with family and picking guitar and banjo with his friends.
Along with his parents, his brother, Bernard Fair, and his sisters, Evelyn Rae, and Linda Littleton preceded him in death.Charles’s wife, Glenda Ronshausen Fair, his daughter, Jodi Fair of New Cumberland, his sons, Charles Fair Jr. of New Cumberland, and John Fair of Tallahassee, FL., and his sister, Judi Auerbach of Cleveland, OH. survive. In addition, there are five grandchildren, Sera Shannon, Robert, Jason, Aaron, and Brandon Fair.It was Charles’s wish that there be no services. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting with these arrangements.
