BOARD OF EDUCATION RECOGNIZES FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS’ ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Hancock County Board of Education took a moment to hear about a school bus driver who went beyond her assigned duties to help out a student.  Superintendent Dawn Petrovich said she had a call from a parent who said that her son’s bus driver, Marge Apesos, discovered Friday  their son had left behind the homemade Mother’s Day card he had made in the school bus.    Apesos took the card to the student’s home after her bus run was concluded to make sure the youngster had the card to give to his mother.
