ARNER RECIEVERS CEO SCHOLARSHIP

Ethan Arner, a senior at Oak Glen, was recently presented with a $500 scholarship provided by the Newview chapter of the WVU Community Educational Outreach Service of Hancock County. Ethan is the son of Renee and Alvin “Pete” Arner, of Chester and says he plans to attend West Virginia University this fall as a business major. The scholarship was in the form of a cash award to be used at the recipient’s discretion to help defray the cost of their continuing education. To qualify, Arner had to meet certain academic criteria and write an essay on what volunteering in the community means to him

The CEOS is one of several volunteer organizations of the West Virginia University Extension Service.
