Ethan Alvin Arner is 18 years of age and the son of Pete and Renee Arner of Chester.  He was a member of the basketball  (4 years), baseball (2 years), key club (2 years), and National Honor Society (2 years).  He also participated in the Weirton Chamber of Commerce youth leadership and a member of Westminster Presbyterian youth group.

Following high school graduation, Ethan plans to attend West Virginia University and major in business.
