Christopher “Chris” Cooper, 33, of Weirton, passed away May 14, 2022.
Born January 21, 1989 in Weirton, WV, he was the son of Charles and Kathy (Cooper) Mayhew of Weirton.
He formerly worked at Weirton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Laura and Vonlie Cooper; and paternal grandparents, Jack and Betty Mayhew.
In addition to his parents, surviving are two sisters, Tara Mayhew (Shawn) Weirton and Cierra Mayhew (Douglas Madison) of Weirton; two nieces, Cianna and Scarlett; two nephews, Austin and Jonathan; also by Kevin McNeeley and Peggy and Scott Cooper and also by several aunts and uncles.
Visitation is Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 3pm until time of funeral service at 5pm., at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WV.
Memorial contribution may be made to the Nixon Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
