New Cumberland Riverfest Thank You

A 2022 Fall Riverfest is in the books and everything turned out perfectly. Everyone did their jobs to ensure that this event was safe and enjoyable. There’s so much more involved then the public realizes with so many people working behind the scenes. When this seemingly “chaotic mess” actually pulls together and goes off without a snag, it’s a bewildering moment for all.

Thanks to the Riverfest/Parade Committee chaired by Chick Skinner and totally coordinated by Tammy Jenkins. Members included: Betty Skinner, Diane Wells, Maureen Vulgamore, Jim Ewing, Trisha Enochs, Amy Gatrell, Jim Beatty, Will White, Bill White, Chris White, Missy Perkins, Anne Blankenship, Patti Binkoski, Andrea Everly and Brenda Clark. Special thanks to our “husband slaves” Bill Wells and Howard Vulgamore.

The committee thanks all of the outstanding top notch entertainment that graced our stage this year. Thanks also to Mayor White, Earl Tuttle’s sound crew, the forty vendors, our City Workers including Jordan Koski, George Hines, Tom Kessel, Jeremiah Squires, Pat Jones, City Police, Reserves, Firemen, Miranda Keeder and her Northern Panhandle crew, Alfie Reece and special thanks to the River Ave neighbors, who are such good sports. We are grateful for the good weather and camaraderie enjoyed by all. Thanks for coming home to New Cumberland and see you next year. Now, on to the Christmas Parade planning!
