Dorothy Hess,93, of New Cumberland, WV went home to be with her Lord on September 30,2022.

Born February 25, 1929, in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late the  Merle and Eula (Bonsell) DeRhodes.

She was a member of the Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hess

Survived by three daughters, Ruth (Tom) Ketcham of OK, Martha (Paul) Neiheisel of GA, Miriam Hess of New Cumberland; two sons, Thomas (Betty) Hess of KY and David (Marcy) Hess of New Cumberland; 14 grandchildren;31 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Walter DeRhodes of Ohio and Lee DeRhodes of Ohio.

 According to Dorothy’s wishes no service will be held. Memorial Services will be held by her family at a later date.
