Ruth Ann Fields, 67, of New Manchester, passed away October 12, 2022.

Born May 17, 1955 in Wheeling, WV, she was the daughter of the late Fisher and Idabelle (Dougherty) Booth.

She was a member of the Autism Society, attended the Christian Church and a member of the Hancock County Senior Center. Ruth Ann was an avid shopper and collector of Bears.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Fields and two brothers, Ed Ammonds and Butch Booth.

Surviving are her husband, Perry Fields of New Manchester; two sons, Benny (Lisa) Grimes of New Cumberland, and Chris (Libby) Grimes of New Cumberland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Virden of New Manchester; many nieces and nephews and many extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16, from 1-3 and 5-7pm., at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WV, where funeral services will be at 11am. on Monday,  October 17,2022.
