The Swaney Library in New Cumberland will once again be holding a Christmas tree display during the month of December.  All local churches and organizations are invited to decorate a tree in the library for the holiday season.  The public will vote on which tree is the “best-dressed,” and the winning group will divide the proceeds of the ticket sales.  Each vote is $1 or six votes for $5.  The trees should be up and decorated by Thursday, December 1^st and taken down no later than Friday, January 6, 2023.  Groups can decorate their tree however they choose and then tell everyone they know to stop in and buy a vote.  The tree display has been a fun holiday tradition for the last several years, and we hope your group will join in the festivities this year.  Even if you don’t decide to decorate a tree, please stop by the library during December to enjoy the display.  For more information, call the library at 304-564-3471.
