Lorelei Schmalstieg, daughter of Justin and Mykelti Schmalstieg, was excited to be the first to mail her letter.  The mailbox is located above Laurel Hollow Park at the overlook in Newell and was delivered to the location by David Atkinson.

All letters, that contain a return address , will be answered by Santa if they are received by Dec. 20.
