‘Weirton, WV — The Top of WV Arts Council kicks off 2023 with an exhibition showcasing the latest work by new and longtime group members. An opening reception for this event will take place at Summit Art Gallery in the Top of WV CVB on Thursday evening, January 12, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be available. The exhibition runs through March 2, 2023.
“The exhibition will reveal the depth and breadth of our council membership’s tremendous talent,” agree exhibition co-chairs Savannah Schroll Guz and Dennis Jones, “and, through it, we hope to inspire more community members to join us in 2023.”
A related paint ‘n’ sip event hosted by the Top of WV Arts Council is scheduled for Saturday, February 11, at 2:30 pm, with an inclement weather date of Saturday, February 18. All materials, instruction, and refreshments will be provided. The cost is $35.00 per person. There is a limit of 20 people for the paint ‘n’ sip event, and RSVPs with pre-payment are required. The Top of WV Arts Council – headquartered at Summit Art Gallery, located at 3539 Main Street inside Top of WV CVB in Weirton – is a local organization dedicated to advancing arts and culture in our community.
