HANCOCK BOARD TO CONSIDER SUPERINTENDENT CONTRACT RENEWAL

The Hancock County Board of Education will meet in Special Session Wednesday (March 8) at the Rockefeller Vocational Center at 5:3O P.M. with only one item on the agenda: to consider to renew the two- or four- year of the contact of current Superintendent Dawn Petrovich. Nearing retirement age, rumors have circulated in the educational community may opt to retire.

Should she not take that route and the Board does not continue her contract the Board may elect to conduct an internal source for superintendent

The Board will likely go into executive session where discussion will take place but no decision will be made. Upon reconvening the Board will take any action.
