East Liverpool native Tom Rodfong spoke for nearly two hours recently at a presentation made possible by The Orchards of East Liverpool – but he probably could’ve spoken for days.  Rodfong is a well-known and highly-respected attorney, specializing in long-term care, living wills, asset protection and Medicaid planning for the elderly.  His knowledge of these subjects didn’t go unnoticed by the captivated crowd, who gathered at The Orchards’ Rehab Suites on Armstrong Lane in East Liverpool.

Orchards’ CEO Scott Fox introduced Rodfong and thanked him for taking time from his schedule to speak.  Those in attendance were given valuable advice about making arrangements for long-term care for the elderly, whether it be an immediate need or guidance about planning for a future need.  Everyone was given an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.

Attorney Rodfong is the founder of Rodfong Law Offices, an Elder Law firm dedicated to serving the legal and financial needs of the elder community needing long-term care.  His law practice focuses in the areas of Elder Law, Medicaid and Long-Term Care Planning.  A practicing attorney for over 30 years, he received his Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University, and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Akron School of Law.

The Orchards at Foxcrest, now in its 71st year of continuous family ownership and operation, provides a multi-level scope of care for area residents.  From independent living to long-term care and rehabilitation services, The Orchards’ philosophy is “caring for minds, bodies and souls.”  Those interested in hearing more about any of these services or living arrangements are urged to call Community Liaison Natalie DiBenedetto at (304) 479-1910.
