Opportunity has finally come to the Northern Panhandle. For a while it seemed that Hancock County had been written off or because of actions of some of our legislators, got us put on the naughty list..   Let’s not blow it this time.

**Form is having open house in Weirton on April 26 27 in the Weirton Room.  It is apparent to ne that their plan is be an integral part of the community and get to know the stakeholders.     On the other hand the new business owner of the spec building Chester has yet to introduce himself and the business to Chester City Council.   After adhering to confidentiality requirements, Council and the Mayor (and the Press) should be the first stop a business or industry makes.

I encourage every small business, new or expanding to meet with Councils to apprise them of their challenges and success.
