The New Cumberland RiverFest will again host a wonderful Art Show during the RiverFest on September 23rd and 24th, 2023. The theme for K-8th grade is “All About Fall” and high school students may submit any art piece. It is a chance for local young artists, to showcase their artistic abilities. Friends and neighbors are always surprised at the talent that lies hidden within the community.
Art may be dropped off at the building near the RiverFest stage between the hours of 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Friday, September 22nd, 2023. All pieces should be ready to hang with wire. Artist’s names and contact numbers must accompany each piece. The art will be on display both days of the RiverFest and must be picked up by 4:00pm on Sunday, September 24th, 2023.
Art will be categorized by grades and judged. Categories include painting, drawing, photography/graphics art. The category must be indicated on the back of each piece of art. Monetary prizes and ribbons will be awarded by Saturday afternoon. Art teachers submitting student’s works will receive a $50.00 donation for their art departments.
Come home to the New Cumberland RiverFest September 23rd & 24th, 2023 and visit the Art Show, sure to bring a smile.
