The Newview CEOS club will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, October 4, at the Hancock County Senior Services Center on Gas Valley Road.
As more and more of us experience the phenomenon of hacking, or cloning, of Facebook accounts, and due to an ever-growing number of online shopping scams, this month’s lesson will be looking into some very basic, front-line things you can do to protect yourself and your information.
The lesson will begin at noon, following a light luncheon at the Senior Center. The menu will be a surprise! There have been rumors that the “bar” is coming back; as in soup and salad bar, potato bar, soup and sandwich bar, etc. so we are excited to see what we’ll find!
As always, the public is cordially invited to join us. The lesson and camaraderie is free but, if you wish to join us for lunch, the normal Senior Center fee of $8 will apply.
