YOUR IMAGINATION STATION with Miss Connie

Y’all should’ve been here Wednesday.  We had the most SPOOKTACULAR time at Storytime. Our Littlest class is still working on being gentle with books, learning to use crayons, and not eat the glue. They’re so fun ! Our older Littles had their Halloween party, because we couldn’t have it last week due to the power outage causing us to close for the day. We’re pretty sure we know why it snowed yesterday, too. Mrs Claus showed up for Storytime and we think she might have brought us some snow from the North Pole.

After we read our first story, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, we made our own little spiders and then went to Allison Elementary School, where Mrs Hartung took us on a parade around the school. The kiddos got to see some of their family members as well as some of their friends.

We came back to hear another story. This time, it was about an Old lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves. Then we made our own Scarecrow, but without having to swallow everything the old lady had.

And then we finished our day, with the help of OGHS students, “trick or treating” to all the adults who were scattered around the library.

Just look at these cute little characters. Seriously y’all, I have the BEST job ever !!!
