Michael D. Woolley Jr., 49, a lifetime resident of Chester, passed, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic following a lengthy illness.

Born, on January 21, 1974, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Michael D. Woolley Sr.

Mike was a graduate of Oak Glen High School Class of 1993. He formerly worked as an engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad Company. Beyond his work life, Mike was a devoted family man. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and 2 dogs Cinnamon and Nala. Mike was an avid sports fan, especially football. He dedicated numerous years to coaching Little League football. He enjoyed gardening and cooking. Mike was known as a jokester and prankster. He was a member of the Chester American Legion Post# 121. 

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Erin Joy Woolley, and by his only daughter whom he referred to as “Goose”, Georgia Woolley; brother, Bobby Woolley, and his wife, Bev of Chester; sister, Christina Woolley of Chester and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel, from 2:00-4:00 PM.
