Lane Closure on County Route 9, Wylie Ridge Road, Weirton, to Begin Thursday, February 1, 2024
Hancock County, W.Va. – A portion of County Route 9 (Wylie Ridge Road), in Weirton, will be restricted to one lane from milepost 0.00 to milepost 1.57, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., beginning Thursday, February 1, 2024, through Friday, February 16, 2024, for tree trimming. Flaggers will maintain traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.
Alternate Routes: Use County Route 11 (Kings Creek Road) to County Route 9/9 (Turkey Foot Road) or WV 2 (Ohio River Boulevard) to County Route 2/8 (Rainey Hill Road).
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the project schedule.
