Delores E. Casto of Chester passed at the Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester on Thursday, February 22, 2024, following a lengthy illness.

 Delores was born in Newell on April 8, 1937. She was 86 years old and the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret McBane Staley.

Delores was a retired Ward Clerk at the East Liverpool City Hospital and a member of the First Christian Church in Chester. She was a member of the Chester American Legion Post 121 Auxiliary, and while living in Florida, a member of the Lake Seminole Estates board of directors.

Along with her parents, her husband, Charles Casto preceded her in death.

Delores leaves her loving and ever-attentive family, daughter, Dana (Thomas) Picciarelli, of Chester, her son, Charles A. (Beverley) Casto of Marietta, GA. and her grandchildren, Jessica (Morgan) Douglas, Matthew (Megan) Casto, Toni (Mark) Snyder, Jerry Picciarelli, and Daniel (Janet) Picciarelli. Six great-grandchildren also survive, Mark II, Zachary, and Jeridan Snyder, Aidan and Noah Picciarelli, and Jackson Douglas.

She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where no services are planned.

Her family would like to thank the management and staff of the Stone Pear Pavilion for the amazing care given to Delores during the time that she spent there.
