Terri L. Stoffel, 58, of Chester, passed, Monday, February 26, 2024, at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born, January 4, 1966, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late John C.Hayes Sr. and Patty Caruso Hayes.

Terri was a graduate of Oak Glen High School Class of 1984. She later received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Phoenix. Terri was previously employed as an accountant by Mountaineer Racetrack and Casino and Hollywood Casino.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chester.

Terri had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Terri. They were part of who she was, and her strength undoubtedly helped her deal with life’s challenges. 

She is survived by her husband, George Stoffel; brother, John C. Hayes Jr. and his wife, Angel; nephew, Seth Hayes and niece, Kenzie Hayes.

Visitation will be held, Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Arner Funeral Chapel, from 5:00-7:00 PM.
