OBITUARY:Karen “Susie” Richards Dyke

Karen “Susie” Richards Dyke, 67, of Chester, passed, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, due to complications from pneumonia. Born, on June 8, 1956, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Erla Mae Allison D’Angelo. Susie was also preceded in death by her husband, George Dyke. She was a graduate of Oak Glen High School. Susie dedicated over 30 years working at Kmart in East Liverpool. She most recently worked as a Care Aide at The Orchards Pepperberry Suites. Susie was passionate about taking photos of people and things she loved. She loved hearing and seeing her grandchildren make great accomplishments. Susie loved spending time with her son’s dog, Chewy. The most important thing to her was her faith in the Lord. She attended Beechwood Free Methodist Church in East Liverpool.She will be deeply missed by her son, Toby Richards, and his wife, Stephanie of Newell; grandchildren, Connor, and Camryn Richards; brother, Jimmy Beckman of East Liverpool; niece, Jennifer Headley (John) and great nephews and niece, Jonathon, Payten, Ryan, and Easton and brother-in-law, Eugene Richards and his wife, Liz. She is also survived by the father of her son, Jim Richards. Friends may visit with her family at the Arner Funeral Chapel, on Wednesday,  March 13, 2024, from 11:00-1:00 PM and 3:00-5:00 PM. Rev. Norm Eckert will celebrate Susie’s life, following the visitation at 5:00 PM.
