OBITUARY: JAMES PAUL NEWBROUGH

James Paul Newbrough died unexpectedly on March 25,2024 from long-standing complications resulting from his exposure to Agent Orange during his service in Vietnam. He served honorably in the Air Force and then worked for decades as a crane operator at Weirton Steel.

His parents, Pul and Jean Newbrough, predeceased him. He leaves his sisters Carrie Lynn Grode (Tom), her children, his Niece and Nephew Erin Shroyer (Bradley) and Adam Stoder (Molly), and Virginia Phillips (Dean), her daughter Amanda Gemza and 13 great Nieces and Nephews.

The family wishes to particularly thank the neighbors on 2nd Avenue for their many kindnesses to him. James also benefited from the care and thoughtfulness of the staff and his many friends at the Steubenville Da Vita Dialysis Center.

James had a loving heart and was exceptionally generous with those he knew and loved.

A celebration of life will be held at later date. May he rest in peace.
