Unofficial returns show Tommy Ogden defeating Tony LaScola for the Grant District Republican County Commission nomination. Ogden garnered 1,719 votes to LaScola’s 1,413. There is no Democrat filed for the seat.

Brooke County Prosecutor Joe Barki defeated incumbent Circuit Court Judge Ron Wilson in District 1. All other Circuit Court Judges had no opposition David Sims (District 2) Jason Cuomo (District 3) and Michael Olejasc.

In the Hancock County Magistrate Race both Omeka Petteway (Division 1) and Jon Phillips (Division 2) were unopposed. The Division 3 contest between incumbent Steve Svokas and Miranda Keeder resulted in a win for Svokas with a tally of 3,113 votes to Keeder’s 1,847. All judicial races have no party affiliation and are decided in the Primary Elections,

Republican State Senator Ryan Weld retained his seat with 64.89 percent of the vote against challenger Scott Adams.
