HANCOCK COUNTY SCHOOLS PROVIDES MEALS to CHILDREN DURING the SUMMER

The Board of Education for Hancock County Schools announces their sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.

Breakfast is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate. 

Meals will be served at the following sites: Weir High School, 100 Red Rider Road, Weirton, WV. 26062. Weirton Elementary School, 3428 Pennsylvania Ave, Weirton, WV. 26062. Oak Glen High School, 193 Golden Bear Dr., New Cumberland, WV. 26047

Meals will be provided from 8:00 am to 8:30 am starting June 10th and ending on June 28th. The following dates Summer School will not be in session due to Holiday observations: June 19th & 20th.

A nutritious meal is important for children to learn, play and remain active during the summer months. Remember, Hunger Doesn’t Take a Summer Vacation!
