Rebecca A. Foster, 74, of New Cumberland, passed unexpectedly, on Friday, August 9, 2024, at University Hospital in Beechwood, OH.

Born September 19, 1949, in Elkins, WV., she was the daughter of the late Russel Isner and Regina See Isner Garner.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Garner.

Rebecca was a graduate of Weirton High School Class of 1967. She had a long career as a bookkeeper and insurance adjuster at Starck Van Lines in Paris, PA.

A faithful member of Trinity Parish Presbyterian Church in Chester. Rebecca served as the Church accountant and bookkeeper. She dedicated many years to working on the board of the Hancock County Historical Society, 4H Club, and Boy Scouts. She adored her two granddaughters and cherished the memories she could make with them.

Rebecca will be deeply missed by her loving husband, John C. Foster; son, Michael “Shane” Foster and his wife, Jennifer of New Cumberland; granddaughters, Meghan Rose and Britney Nicole Foster; sisters, Yvonne “Sue” Isner of New Cumberland, Linda Vendetti of Belington, WV., and Esther Ilosky of Weirton; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  

Pastor Tony Delucia will celebrate the life of Rebecca on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Arner Funeral Chapel at 5:00 PM. Friends may visit with her family, 2 hours prior to the service from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM.
