HANCOCK COUNTY BOARD SETS PERSONNEL CHANGES FOR COMING YEAR

Preparing for the new school, the Hancock County Board of Education continued to make personnel changes.

**Resignation was accepted from Michelle Wade, countywide substitute teacher;

**Mary Dass was transferred from substitute teacher countywide to Multi-Categorical/Autism, Oak Glen High;

**Assignments for the school year include Sheena Ossman – Multi-Categorical/Autism,Weirton Elementary; Steven Flowers, Welding Instructor, JDRIV Career Center; Nancy D’Angelo – PE/Health, Weir Middle;Matthew Mandarino, Teacher(English)Weir High; Phil Rujak, countywide substitute;

**An unpaid leave of absence was granted for Jeff Lewis, Head Cross-Country, Weir High;

**Resignations were accepted from Kim Trushel, assistant cheerleading, Weir Middle; and Pat McGillian, Head Wrestling, Oak Glen Middle

**Coaching assignments for the coming year approved were Sarah Marie Young – Head Cross Country;

**A resignation from Allyson Martin, LPN/AM Aide, New Manchester Elementary;

**Transfers were approved for Thanachakorn Boehm, Supervisory Aide/AM, Weir Middle to Supervisory Aide/ECCA, 2nd Grade, Weirton Elementary; Darcie Johnson, Supervisory Aide/AM – K-4, Weirton Elementary; Michael Ludovici from bus operator #27 to #229

**Matthew Jagela was approved as a volunteer for Weir High Band.

The Board will meet again for a regular meeting Monday August 26, 2024
