The Hancock County Board of Education recognized the Volleyball and Football teams from Oak Glen Middle School at Monday’s regular meeting. Both 8th Grade teams achieved the BMC Championship status and were in attendance to be honored by the Board.
In other business, the Board:
**Transferred Mike Witherow from unpaid Assistant Wrestling Coach at Oak Glen Middle to Assistant Wrestling Coach at OGMS;
**Accepted the resignation of Tia Beckwith as LPN/Supervisory Aide at Oak Glen Middle;
**Granted permission for Oak Glen High FBLA participating students to travel to Canaan Valley Resort for the FBLA Fall Leadership Conference from Nov. 21 to Nov.22;
**Declared equipment surplus;
**Announced its next meeting would be held Nov. 18, 2024, 5:30 p.m. at the JDRIV, Career Center.
