It’s beginning to look like Christmas at the Swaney Memorial Library in New Cumberland, WV.  The New Cumberland Lions Club put their annual library Christmas tree up in the Swaney Library on November 30. This year’s NC Lions Club theme is “Historic New Cumberland, The Community We Serve.” Lion Cindy Skerbetz chaired the project and put together ideas featuring an old fashion Christmas tree with 38 homemade ornaments made with photos of New Cumberland dating from 1895-2022.  Please visit the Swaney Library during business hours throughout December and place your Christmas Tree vote(s) to support the library and the New Cumberland Lions Club .
