The only race to be contested in New Cumberland’s May 13th Municipal Election will be that of Mayor. Incumbent Mayor Will White will face Councilman Michael Watkins. Current Council members seeking to return to their seats will have no competition and include: Ward I – Penny Spilecki; Ward II, Seat A – Dave Cline, Seat C – Joe Ellen Kessel. No candidate has filed for Seat B in Ward II and an appointment to fill that seat will take place after the May 13 election when the Mayor will recommend and the Council will approve the new member of Council.
