The filing period for New Cumberland’s May 13th Municipal Election ended Saturday with current council members filing for all but one seat. The only contested race will be for Mayor with incumbent Mayor Will White facing Councilman Michael Watkins.
Other incumbent Council members filing include Ward I – Penny Spilecki; Ward II, Seat A – Dave Cline; Seat C – Joe Ellen Kessel. No candidate filed for Ward II, Seat B. That seat will be filled on the recommendation of the Mayor with the approval of Council after the May 13th Election.
