Helen Wright,85, of New Cumberland, peacefully on February 15, went home to be with the lord. She was born in Hundred WV the daughter of the late Michael and Laura (Sapp) Stewart. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jolly “Brownie” Wright; a grandson, three brothers, Junior, Robert and Ronnie Stewart and a sister Carol Rhome. Helen was a member of the New Manchester Christian Church.
She is survived by five sons, Joe Wright of New Cumberland, Gene Wright of Chester, John (Tawnya) Wright of New Cumberland, Jim (Gail) Wright of Ohio and Garold Wright (Arretta) of New Cumberland; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marlene Rhome-Shefelton and Patty Butcher both of Ohio.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 12 p.m. to time of service at 2 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home of New Cumberland.
