The season opener for the Oak Glen High Baseball team will take place March 22, 2025 at the new Suzan L. Smith Fields of Dream. At noon, a welcome will be given and the announcement of the following honorary base placers will take place: Dave Smith 1st base; Kasey Arnott 2nd base; and Frank Crain 3rd base.
At 12:10pm Teams will warm up on the infield; 12:35pm Ground Rules; 12:40 p.m., Player Introduction; 12:50 p.m. National Anthem; 12:55pm First Pitch thrown by Suzan Smith to catcher Superintendent Dan Enich; 1:00 pm – Play Ball
The Golden Bear mascot will be on hand to cheer on the team. Free popcorn will be handed out and an Oak Glen cookie table will be near the concession stand will have a balloon tower. After the game, kids who attended the game can run around the bases with their parents.
