A very special day is planned for the Oak Glen Softball Season opener. The schedule is as follows:
4:35pm Welcome everyone and announce honorary base placers: 1st Base Dave Smith; 2nd Base Kasey Arnott and 3rd Base Frank Crain.
Teams will warm up on the infield
5:10pm Ground Rules
5:15pm Player Introduction
5:20pm National Anthem
5:25pm First Pitch thrown by Suzan Smith to catcher Superintendent Dan Enich
5:30pm Play Ball!
After the game, kids who attended the game can run around the bases with their parents. Face Painting will be offered by the Art Department with free popcorn given out. An Oak Glen cookie tray will be near the concession stand which will have a balloon tower.
