The fourth annual “Tri-State Area Youth Showcase of Talent” took place on Sunday, April 6, at Beaver Local High School. Multiple acts, featuring students from elementary school to the collegiate level, performed at the event sponsored by the Cleda Marie Fitzjohn Memorial Music Trust.
Founded in 2017, by Chester resident John D. Fitzjohn, to honor the life and memory of his mother, the trust benefits music students of all ages from the following areas: northern Hancock County, WV; Beaver Local, East Liverpool and Wellsville, OH; and Midland Borough, PA.
To date, over forty students have benefited from Fitzjohn Memorial Music Trust scholarships.
