Crow Sworn in as New Board Member

The Hancock County Board of Education swore in its newest Board of Education member at Monday’s meeting. Jack Crow will replace Gerard Spencer, the Butler District member who resigned to take a position with the school system as safety coordinator

The Board also took the following personnel action:

**Placed Brooke Provenzano, Christopher Pugh and Tiffany Warner on the transfer list for reassignment for the 25/26 school year;

**Placed Nancy D’Angelo, Stephanie Fidak, Alissa Hitt, John DiPasquale and Fred Hannahs on the reduction in force (RIF) listed with the names being put on the preferred recall list;

**Accepted the resignation of Julie Alatis, Multi-Categorical/Autism Weir High. Alatis is retiring;

**Approved Julie Paul, Hannah Rogers, McKayla Goodlin and Kamryn Bable as countywide substitute teachers.

**Approved the following contract renewals:
