Top of WV Releases Summer Event Schedule

WEIRTON, WV – The Weirton Event Center has a packed event schedule once again as the City of Weirton and the Top of WV CVB proudly announce the 2026 Summer Event Schedule. This marks the 14th year of free community programming at the venue.

Running from late May through September, this year’s lineup features a mix of live music, community celebrations, and family-friendly experiences designed to bring residents and visitors together all summer long.

The City of Weirton will host the popular Friday Night Concert Series, offering free live entertainment throughout the season. The Top of WV CVB will once again lead the Second Saturday events, which combine live music with a farmer’s and artisan market, food vendors, and activities for all ages.

A special highlight of the season comes during Independence Day weekend. On July 3, the Top of WV CVB will host its annual performance by the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, with fireworks provided by the City of Weirton. On July 4, the City will take the lead with a full day of festivities, including a parade, family activities, live music, and fireworks.

The 2026 schedule features a diverse lineup of acts, including regional favorites, tribute bands, and themed performances:

    • August 8 – New Age Adenas / Aristotle Jones: The Appalachian Soul Man

    • September 12 – The Trainjumpers/Suns of Beaches

All events will take place at the Weirton Event Center, 3322 East Street, Weirton, WV.

Friday concerts will open gates at 7:00 p.m. with music beginning at 8:00 p.m. Second Saturday events will feature a farmer’s and artisan market from 5:00–9:00 p.m., with concerts beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs, gather friends and family, and enjoy a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere.
